Bidding online.

Bidding online is a simple and fun process. In order to bid at TCbid.com, you will need to obtain a bidder number.  In order to obtain a bidder number, please follow the steps listed below.

1.      Click on the register button at the top of the page. (It is the image that looks like a bid paddle)

2.      Read the terms of registration. Once you have read these terms click on the link on the bottom of the page to continue.

3.      You will then be prompted for user information, address information and passwords  Please enter all the required information and then at the bottom of the page, click on the acceptance button..

4.      You will then be sent an email with your bidder number and password.

Once you have received your bidder number return to tcbid.com to enter the auction. If you would like to place a bid, select the item you want to bid on.  Next to the item you are bidding on,  you will see two text boxes on the right hand side of the page. The first text box is the amount you want to bid. The second text box is the maximum amount you are willing to bid.  Once you have placed your bid, scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your bidder number you received after registering and your password and then click submit bids.

I placed a bid, now what do I do?

Now that you have registered and placed a bid, you may be wondering what you should do next. This is an online auction so other people are also looking to get a good deal and may out bid you. If you have not entered a maximum bid you may want to consider this option and TcBid.Com will automatically place a bid for you. You can also register to be on our mailing list to make sure you are up to date on all upcoming auctions. You may also want to look around your house and or business and sell something yourself.

What happens if I am out bid?

If you are outbid on an item or items, TcBid.Com will notify you via your registered email address. You can then log on to TcBid.Com, browse to your item and place another bid if you choose.

Can I cancel my bid?

The only reason in which you may cancel your bid is if you accidently added extra digits to your bid. For example if you wanted to bid $50 and you accidently put a bid in for $500.  However, if the item has a market value equal or greater to your bid TcBid.com reserves the right to hold your bid as binding. You cannot cancel your bid for changing your mind. This is an auction and once you hold the paddle up or in this case clicked your button, you have placed a bid. Please review all your bids carefully.
